DIY 3D Printer Enclosure + Filament Storage Cabinet Plans (Digital Download)
Build a professional‑grade 3D printer enclosure cabinet that’s designed to reduce noise, organize filament, and create a clean, mobile workstation. This enclosure includes a power/control panel, sound‑absorbing build, and large filament storage — with a slide‑out printer tray for easy access and maintenance.

Designed and built by a mechanical engineer with real‑world shop experience.

⭐ Best For (Read This First)
Great fit if you are: an intermediate DIY builder who’s comfortable with cabinet construction and wants a premium enclosure with storage + organization. (One buyer noted it’s “challenging for a beginner,” which is a helpful expectation-setter.)

🔥 What This Enclosure Does
• Quieter printing with a sound‑absorbing enclosure design
• Filament stays drier longer with moisture-control concepts using seals + dehumidifiers
• Massive storage capacity: filament storage for 17 spools + an upper loading area for 3–5 spools
• Organized tools & parts: 2 large drawers for accessories, tools, and consumables
• Mobile, clean wiring concept: powers devices from a single extension cord with concealed routing
• Slide‑out printer platform for easier maintenance and access

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this design be engraved?

I can engrave any black and white image. The black details on the image is what will be engraved. A higher quality image results in a better engraving.

Easy to follow plans if you have built basic cabinets before. It would be challenging for a beginner.
